France Grilles

France Grilles is the French multidisciplinary distributed computing research infrastructure.

Overview

France Grilles is a French Research Infrastructure that aims at building and operating a multidisciplinary distributed computing infrastructure at the French level. It is open to all sciences and to developing countries.

My activities

As technical director of France Grilles, I am in charge of:

• Coordinating the operations between the sites participating to the national infrastructure.
• Ensuring the connection, particularly in terms of operations and technology, with French and European partners.
• Producing technical documentation and monitor the deployment of the production technologies.
Recruiting and training employees to fulfill the strategy of France Grilles. </li>
• Managing the budget dedicated to technical activities

I am also particularly involved in the following services:

• FG-Cloud
• FG-iRODS
• Grid Computing
